Over the past four years, Lacuna Kites have been our trusted kiteboarding equipment, delivering exceptional performance and reliability in all conditions. Our passion for the brand led us to become the official UK importer of Lacuna Kites. Born in Cape Town and tested in the world’s most challenging environments, Lacuna products combine cutting-edge design with durability, giving riders the confidence to excel.

Meet DK & Su Kay
DK (Dave Kay)
DK is Lacuna’s lead product engineer and the creative mind behind much of our innovative kiteboarding equipment. With decades of experience in the industry, DK has designed everything from kites to boards, and has helped set the standards for safety and performance. He’s passionate about sharing his expertise—whether through social media, his monthly Tech Cast on KiteSurf365, or simply helping fellow kiters get the most out of their gear.
Su Kay
Su is Lacuna’s product designer and a true all-rounder in the world of kiteboarding. She’s been a rider, instructor, tester, repair specialist, and designer—bringing a wealth of hands-on experience to every product. As the first female kite designer in the industry, Su combines technical know-how with a genuine love for the sport. Her goal is to help everyone discover the joy of kiteboarding.
Together, DK and Su are the driving force behind Lacuna, dedicated to creating high-quality, innovative gear and supporting the kiteboarding community.
